The Nodrog Gordon Setter Club of Michigan, Inc. is an independent club comprised of Gordon Setter fanciers licensed by the American Kennel Club. The Club was organized as a way for these fanciers to meet, share ideas and exchange information in a variety of areas that include showing, training, hunting and health.

The Club is supported by member dues and donations received throughout the year as well as through its events and fundraisers. All members are welcome to attend events to get acquainted and share ideas. Meetings are held throughout the year and will be announced through email or published in the newsletter. Members can also follow club activities through the


The Club is only as good as the members who participate. Experienced members are available to coach and to train any member willing to:

  • Learn about dog club operations

  • Participate in events as the organizer/chairperson, secretary, hospitality coordinator or worker

  • Serve as a board member and/or officer being a board member

  • Serve as a committee chairperson. Available committees include:

    • Archives

    • Awards

    • Breeder Referral

    • Rescue

    • Membership

    • Website

    • Public Education Coordinator

    • Obedience/Agility

    • Highland Representative

    • Newsletter

    • Picnic

  • Event committee chairperson and/or secretary

    • Spring Hunt Test

    • Fall Field Trial

    • Fall Training Days

    • Summer Specialty


NEW MEMBERSHIPS

The Nodrog Gordon Setter Club of Michigan, Inc. invites you to become a member. Four membership options are available:

  • Full membership - includes all voting rights

  • Joint/Couple - for couples - includes all voting rights

  • Associate - no voting rights

  • Junior - for junior members under the age of 18 - no voting rights

To join please complete the application form below and mail it to the address provided with a check for the applicable dues shown in the application. For more information on club membership, please contact Candy Prince, Membership Chair.


IRS Tax Code:

The Nodrog Gordon Setter Club of Michigan, Inc. is a non-profit corporation under section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) code. Under this code dues and donations made to the club do not qualify as a charitable deduction on your federal and state taxes.


Membership Renewals

2019 MEMBER RENEWAL

All current members as of September 1, 2018 have been notified that their member dues for 2019 are due by January 1, 2019. Renewals may be submitted in one of two ways:

  • Mail - pay by check and enclose an updated membership renewal form. Mail to the address included on the form. Please make checks out in full to the Nodrog Gordon Setter Club of Michigan. Please do not use abbreviations.

  • Credit Card - pay by credit card through our secure Pay Pal account. Send copy of your updated renewal form to the treasurer. Follow the links and instructions included on this page.

As always, donations to the specialty trophy fund and/or rescue may be added to your dues payment.
